Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive bilingual (Spanish-English) speech and language evaluations.
- Provide targeted speech therapy to students in a school setting.
- Utilize VOCO (VBD: Maggie) software to document evaluations and therapy progress.
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Offer teletherapy when necessary to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with school district guidelines and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to effectively assess and treat students.
- Previous work with teletherapy and conducting speech-language services remotely.
- Familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) practices is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
